Welcome to Our Elementary School
Central School’s theme —“Learning the Ropes for the Voyage of Life”— reflects our belief in meeting the needs of the whole child: the mind, body, character, and creativity of each student. The six Pillars of Character—trustworthiness, citizenship, caring, respect, fairness, and responsibility are reinforced and celebrated throughout the year by our All Hands on Deck character education program. Students are encouraged to set high goals and give their best effort every day.
Volunteer Opportunities
Fun Run: The Fun Run will be October 3 from 4:30-6 on the Central Fields. We need parent volunteers to make this event possible. If you are interested please sign up here.
Harvest Dinner: We need parents from Grades 1-6 to help with the Harvest Dinner. The Harvest Dinner will be October 9, 2025 from 5:30-7. The sign-up is here.
Publishing: Through this PTO-sponsored program, every Kindergarten and 1st Grade student will write an original story and see it published into their very own book! If you are interested in volunteering click here.
It is our hope that all members of our Central Community can participate in any events they are interested in. If ticket or registration costs are a factor in your ability to participate in any Central events, or to purchase any PTO items, please email Jen Capalbo (School Social Worker).
